1st Annual Springfield Benefit
Chili Cookoff

When and Where: Saturday, March 1, 2:00pm-6:00pm at 9th and Main

What: Each cook or team will sponsor a non-profit organization in the greater Springfield area. The team selected as having the best chili will be awarded all the proceeds from the event which will be donated to their organization.

Cash bar beverages will be provided by 9th and Main. Salads, bread and desserts will be available for sale as an additional fundraising opportunity.

Who: We already have 8 cooks ready to battle it out! They include Team Six-E, Sage Fundraising Solutions 1, Sage Fundraising Solutions 2, The D'Avicos, Market Street Renegades, The Hot Tamales and yours truly, 9th Street Charities.

Do you think you have a killer chili? Bring it on!! Contact swschili08@yahoo.com to enter. Each cook should provide 3-4 gallons - that's right, gallons, of chili to ensure there is enough to go around.

Tickets are limited, so please purchase your ticket in advance of the event.

General admission tasting tickets are $10 entitling diners to a sample of each chili and the opportunity to judge each sample. To purchase a general admission ticket, click the General Admission "Buy Now" button to the right.

Preferred seating tickets are $25 entitling you to full table service, complementary salad, bread, dessert and the opportunity to judge each sample, cook's costume, and the best-named chili. To purchase a preferred seating ticket, click the Perferred Seating "Buy Now" button to the right.

After purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. At the start of the event, you can pick up your tickets at the front door of 9th and Main. (please bring your email receipt)
